The 1.5 dci is a pretty rough old lump and is a lot noisier than even the same engine in a Qashqai (we have one of each) My 13 plate Juke with 20,000 miles had a similar roughness on start up - took it back and they replaced the intercooler mounts supposedly and it was better but still pretty rough
You can probably bore your DPF out or even remove it. There may or may not be an associated engine code if it senses the particulate count is too high. idle air relearn and the throttle valve closed position relearn. When checking for a vacuum leak there are a lot of hoses especially up front of the engine that could be leaking. Just make sure all the clamps are tight and in position. Could also be a leaky or sticky PCV valve in the back left corner of the valve cover.

Having the Same issue. I have had two codes one with Nissan P1090 and P0089 with the Rac on my Nissan 2009 QQ 1.5.. When Nissan plugged in the P0089 said unknown and P1090 said FPS sensor I tried a used sensor but the code came back on. I'm hoping it's not the pump. Oh and code on the rac come up as fuel pressure regulater performance 1.
